Privacy and cookie policy
Short and clear: what data we process, why, and what your rights are.

What data do we process?
When you contact us or request a quote: your name, phone number, email address, address or town, information about your project and any photos you send us.
When you become a customer: the data needed for the quote, carrying out the works and invoicing.
The form on this website stores nothing itself. When you press a button, your own WhatsApp or email app opens with your message, and you send it yourself.
Why and on what legal basis?
- Answering your question and preparing a quote: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- Carrying out and following up the works: performance of the contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- Accounting and tax obligations: legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).
- Defending our rights in a dispute: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
How long do we keep your data?
- Requests that do not lead to an assignment: up to 2 years.
- Invoices and accounting records: 10 years, as required by law.
- Project files: up to 10 years after handover, in view of the ten-year liability.
Who do we share data with?
We never sell your data. We only share it where needed with: our email provider (Microsoft Outlook), WhatsApp (Meta) if you contact us that way, our accountant, our insurer in the event of a claim, the website host, and government bodies where the law requires it.
Some of these services (Microsoft, Meta, Google) may process data outside the European Economic Area. This is then based on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
Your rights
You have the right to access your data, have it corrected or erased, restrict its processing, object to it and have it transferred. Email topkwaliteitbouw@outlook.com. We reply within one month.
Not satisfied? You can file a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority, Drukpersstraat 35, 1000 Brussels, www.dataprotectionauthority.be.
Cookies
This website sets no cookies of its own and uses no tracking or advertising cookies. Your visit is not tracked.
The typeface is loaded from Google Fonts, which means Google receives your IP address. The Google Maps map on the contact page only loads when you click 'Load map'. Google may then set cookies under its own privacy policy.
Links to Instagram, WhatsApp and Google open those services, with their own privacy and cookie policies. If we add analytics later, we will ask for your consent first.
